Synopsis
On the Billboard ‘Top 40’ charts for six consecutive weeks, BLAZIN’, featuring rappers Fat Joe (Empire, Prison Song), Cuban Link and Angie Martinez (radio personality), features some of the most exciting Hong Kong-style action ever captured on film. BLAZIN’ centers on a nightclub called Domain where Sam, played by Sascha Knopf (What’s The Worst That Could Happen, Black Male) and Alex, played by Michael Wehrhahn (What’s Eating You, The Conan O’Brien Show), fall in love. When Sam’s mother, played by Paula Roth (Independence Day), forbids her to see Alex, a tidal wave of betrayal and revenge ensue. As a result Victor, played by Marcos Antonio Miranda (Destination Unknown, Once Upon A Ride), is sent to protect Alex. While attempting to help Sam and Alex escape the wrath of Langstrom’s hit men, Victor enlists the help of street informant Big Jay (Fat Joe) and his crew, Pete (Cuban Link) and Micki (Angie Martinez). BLAZIN’ with Joe Bono (Casino, Raging Bull), Lee Wong (New York Undercover), and Willi One Blood (The Professional), delivers one of the most climatic, violent and spectacular endings audiences will ever see in an independent film.
The film’s soundtrack features music by Cuban Link, American Cream Team featuring Wu-Tang Clan’s RaeKwon & Killah Sin, KRS One, Beatnuts featuring Big Pun, Three 6 Mafia, Amy Tori, King T, Brotha Lynch Hung, and E-A-Ski, to name a few.
